WOODLEIGH'S CHAMPIONS:
Woodleigh Contessa Gay 24th and Woodleigh Western
This two-year old cow weaned a 444kg bull calf. She was First Prize Two-Year Old Female at Wellsford, Whangarei, Warkworth, North Kaipara, Northern Wairoa and Helensville Shows, and was All Breeds Reserve Senior Champion at Wellsford and Helensville Shows. At the Easter Show 2012, she was Runner-Up in the Production Class where, in addition to the judges' opinions, the weight and age of the calf is compared with the weight and age of the dam.
